Disability Ministry
Ensuring every person — regardless of physical, cognitive, or emotional ability — is fully welcomed, included, and able to participate in the life and worship of our church.
About This Ministry
We believe the body of Christ is incomplete without every member — and that includes those with physical, cognitive, sensory, or emotional disabilities. Our Disability Ministry is committed to making Kansas Avenue SDA Church a place where everyone can fully participate in worship, community, and service.
We work alongside families and individuals to ensure accessibility at every level — from physical accommodations in the sanctuary to specialized Sabbath School programming, sensory-friendly spaces, and trained support volunteers. We also offer respite care to give caregivers a much-needed break while their loved ones are cared for with dignity and love.
If you or someone you love has a disability, we want to know you. You are not an afterthought — you are essential to this church family.
